Who is responsible for your data

This policy is written to comply with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (the PDPA). It describes what actually happens on this website; it is not a generic template.

What this website does and does not do

The site runs no analytics and no advertising trackers — no Google Analytics, no advertising tags from Google or Meta, no other measurement code. The only data it writes to your device is the consent preference, held in local storage. That is the complete inventory.

The personal data we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to send it to us, in two ways:

• The inquiry form on the Contact page. When you submit the form, the details you enter — your name, email address, an optional phone number, a subject, and your message — are sent as a JSON request to our own handler at /api/inquiry on this same domain. The request never leaves this domain. We use the data only to read your inquiry and reply to it.
• Direct email or phone. If you write to or call us using the contact details in the footer, we hold the content of that exchange for the same purpose.

We do not collect browsing data, we do not build profiles across visits, and we do not sell or share personal data with any third party.

Why we use it, and the legal basis

We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry and, if you both agree, to scope and carry out a planning engagement. Under the PDPA, the legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form (the consent checkbox on the form) and confirmed in writing before any engagement begins. Where an engagement goes ahead, we process the documents you provide under the basis of a contract for advisory services.

How long we keep it

If an inquiry does not lead to an engagement, we keep the inquiry details for twelve months after our last exchange and then delete them. If an inquiry leads to an engagement, we retain the working file for the duration of the engagement plus seven years, which is the period required to defend advisory work under Thai limitation rules. After that period the file is deleted.

Where the data is held

Inquiry data is received by our same-domain handler and held on our own systems. We do not use third-party form services, third-party file-sharing platforms, or third-party analytics. Documents you send during an engagement are held on systems we control.

Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request that it be corrected or deleted, to withdraw your consent (where processing is based on consent), and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@datapath.click. We will respond within thirty days. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.

Transferring data outside Thailand

If you send an inquiry from outside Thailand, your message passes through networks outside Thailand to reach our handler. We do not otherwise transfer personal data abroad. Where an engagement involves a client resident in another country, documents are shared only with that client and, where strictly needed, with a regulated professional that client has instructed; we do not transfer personal data to third parties for our own purposes.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated date below will change. We will not begin handling personal data in a new way without updating this page first.
